The SECO 74034543 is a chamfer-style replaceable milling tip designed for use in the Minimaster MM08 modular milling system. Made from solid carbide with a PVD-applied TiAlN coating, this insert provides wear resistance and heat tolerance across a wide range of workpiece materials. The cutting diameter measures 0.152 inches, the chamfer angle is 45 degrees, and the tool delivers a maximum depth of cut of 0.083 inches. With two flutes and a right-hand cut orientation, this tip is suited for chamfering, beveling, and edge-break operations. It is installed and serviced by machinists and CNC tooling technicians working in production and job-shop environments.
This milling tip fits the Minimaster MM08 series toolholder platform and is appropriate for use on CNC machining centers and milling machines. The E03 chipbreaker geometry and T60M grade carbide support applications across steel, stainless steel, cast iron, non-ferrous metals, superalloys, titanium, and hard materials. The 45-degree lead angle produces a 90-degree included angle, making it well suited for standard chamfer and countersink operations. It ships individually but carries a minimum order quantity of 2 units per transaction.
Designed for use with Minimaster MM08 series modular toolholders. The full milling tip designation is MM08-0.315-45.08-E03. Verify holder thread and seat dimensions before installation.
Installation is performed by a qualified machinist or CNC tooling technician. Power down and lock out the machine spindle before seating or removing the milling tip. Use the appropriate Minimaster torque key to secure the tip to the holder shank — do not use improvised tools that may damage the seating surface. Inspect the holder pocket for chips, debris, or wear before each insert change.
