The SECO 74034266 is a carbide end replaceable milling tip designed for the MM10 Minimaster series modular milling system. It carries a T60M manufacturer grade and is coated with TiAlN via a PVD process, providing wear resistance across a range of demanding workpiece materials. The tip features 2 flutes, a 0.375 inch cutting width, a maximum depth of cut of 0.268 inches (6.8 mm), and a functional length of 0.335 inches (8.50 mm). The chipbreaker designation is M03 and the tip is configured for right-hand cut. Licensed machinists and tooling specialists working in production milling environments are the primary installers and users of this insert.
This tip is suited for slotting operations with a 90-degree lead angle and zero helix angle, making it appropriate for full-width slot milling passes. It is rated for use on a broad set of primary workpiece materials including steel, stainless steel, cast iron, non-ferrous metals, superalloys, titanium, and hard materials, corresponding to ISO material codes P, M, K, N, S, and H. It does not support coolant-through delivery. Typical use is in CNC milling centers where Minimaster MM10 series toolholders are in service.
Designed as a replacement tip for the MM10 Minimaster modular milling system. The full milling tip designation is MM10-0.375-M03. Compatible toolholders and adapters must be from the MM10 series to ensure proper seating and engagement.
Installation is performed by a qualified machinist or tooling technician. The machine spindle must be fully stopped and locked out before changing or seating any replaceable milling tip. Use the correct torque wrench and clamping screw specified for the MM10 toolholder to secure the tip — do not use improvised tools that may damage the seating surface. Inspect the tip pocket and mating surfaces for chips or debris before seating the replacement tip.
