The SECO 74018893 is a solid carbide milling insert in the 335.19-12 series, designed for use in SECO 335.19 cutter bodies. It carries the ANSI and ISO designation 335.19-1204T-MD09 and is finished with a CVD-applied TiCN coating over a medium-grain carbide substrate in the T25M grade. The insert measures 0.5 inches square with a thickness of 0.1575 inches and provides four cutting edges. A negative rake angle of 15 degrees combined with a T-Land cutting edge style supports stable, predictable performance in demanding milling applications. The screw-hold mounting method and neutral hand orientation suit standard toolholder setups without indexing restrictions.
This insert is suited for milling steel, stainless steel, superalloys, and titanium, corresponding to ISO material codes P, M, and S. It is a single-sided insert intended for face milling and shoulder milling operations where controlled chip formation is required.
