Product Description

The SECO 74018660 is a DCMT-style solid carbide turning insert designed for precision metal cutting on CNC lathes and turning centers. It carries the industry standard designation DCMT32.51-F2 and the ISO code DCMT11T304-F2. The insert features a multilayer CVD coating of TiC, TiCN, and TiN, placing it in the TP40 manufacturer grade. With a 55-degree diamond insert shape, a 3/8-inch inscribed circle, and a 1/64-inch (0.0157 inch) corner radius, it is built for general-purpose turning, facing, boring, and back turning. The F2 chip breaker geometry and honed cutting edge style support consistent chip control across a range of feed and depth conditions.

This insert is intended for machining steel and stainless steel workpiece materials, corresponding to ISO material codes P and M. It is suited to material grades P40, M35, and M40. Installation Notes
