The SECO 74016055 is a solid carbide milling insert carrying ANSI and ISO designation 335.19-1205T-MD09, designed for use in SECO 335.19-12 series milling cutters. The insert features a square shape with a 90-degree included angle, a negative rake angle of 15 degrees, and a T-Land cutting edge style with MD09 chip breaker geometry. The T25M grade CVD-applied TiCN coating provides wear resistance suited for machining steel, stainless steel, superalloys, and titanium. With four usable cutting edges on a single-sided insert, it delivers extended service life per unit. A screw-holding method secures the insert in the cutter body. This insert is installed by machinists and tooling technicians in CNC milling operations.
This insert is intended for medium-grain solid carbide milling applications across a range of ferrous and high-temperature alloy workpiece materials.
