The SECO 74011755 is a solid carbide turning insert in the CCMT32.52-F2 HX configuration, designed for precision metal-cutting operations on CNC lathes and turning centers. It features an 80-degree diamond (rhombic) shape with a positive rake and positive side clearance, a 3/8-inch inscribed circle, a 1/32-inch corner radius, and a 7-degree relief angle. The F2 chip breaker geometry targets finishing cuts, while the uncoated HX grade delivers high wear resistance and toughness across a wide range of workpiece materials. Cutting edges are honed and held in place by a screw-clamp system.

This insert is suited for boring, facing, and turning applications in both light and moderate production environments. Its grade characteristics make it applicable across stainless steel (M), cast iron (K), aluminum and non-ferrous metals (N), and superalloys and titanium (S). Installation Notes

Installation is performed by a machinist or toolroom technician. Power down and lock out the machine spindle before changing inserts. Seat the insert fully into the pocket and secure with the clamp screw to the toolholder manufacturer's specified torque before resuming operation. Inspect the insert seat and clamp for wear or debris each time the insert is indexed or replaced.
