The SECO 74004994 is a chamfer-style replaceable milling tip engineered for indexable end milling operations in the Minimaster (MM16) system. Manufactured from carbide grade C5 with a PVD-applied TiAlN coating, this right-hand tip delivers a 60-degree lead angle and a 30-degree chamfer angle, making it suitable for chamfering, profiling, and angular milling passes. The cutting diameter measures 0.330 inches, with a maximum depth of cut of 0.264 inches and a functional length of 0.602 inches. Two flutes and the E06 chipbreaker geometry work together to manage chip evacuation and cutting forces across a wide range of workpiece materials. Licensed machinists and CNC setup technicians are the primary installers of this tip.
This tip is designed for use in steel, stainless steel, cast iron, non-ferrous metals, superalloys, titanium, and hard materials, covering ISO material classifications P, M, K, N, S, and H. It seats into MM16-series Minimaster holders and is well suited for both roughing chamfers and finishing angular profiles in production milling environments on CNC machining centers. The tip is sold individually per package, with a minimum order quantity of 2 units.
Designed for use with MM16-series Minimaster indexable milling holders. The full milling tip designation is MM16-0.630-60.26-E06. Compatible with workpiece materials classified under ISO codes P, M, K, N, S, and H, including steel, stainless steel, cast iron, non-ferrous metals, superalloys, titanium, and hard materials.
This tip is installed and replaced by machinists or CNC tooling technicians. Power down and lock out the machine spindle before seating or removing any indexable tip. Use the correct torque wrench or tip-locking key specified by the Minimaster holder manufacturer to avoid over-torquing the clamping mechanism, which can damage the seating pocket. Inspect the holder pocket for chips, debris, or wear before mounting a new tip, and confirm correct seating before resuming cuts.
