The SECO 74004993 is a chamfer replaceable milling tip designed for use in the Minimaster MM10 modular end mill system. Built from solid carbide with a TiAlN coating applied via PVD process, this tip delivers wear resistance and thermal stability across a range of workpiece materials. It carries the T60M manufacturer grade and features a 60-degree lead angle with a 30-degree chamfer angle, producing a 120-degree included angle geometry. The cutting diameter measures 0.206 inches with a cutting width of 0.394 inches and a functional length of 0.378 inches. Two flutes with an E03 chipbreaker configuration support controlled chip evacuation. Material grade is C5. This tip is installed by machinists and CNC tooling technicians.
The 74004993 is suited for chamfering operations on steel, stainless steel, cast iron, non-ferrous metals, superalloys, titanium, and hard materials, covering ISO material codes P, M, K, N, S, and H. It is a right-hand cut tip and is intended for use in moderate to high-demand milling applications where a replaceable indexable tip format reduces tooling downtime. The MM10 series platform allows the tip to be swapped at the machine without removing the holder from the spindle, making it practical in production environments.

This replaceable milling tip is installed by tooling technicians or machinists following the spindle lockout and de-energization procedures applicable to the machine tool in use.
