The SECO 74000334 is a SEKR1504AFTN-ME16 solid carbide milling insert designed for indexable face and shoulder milling operations. It carries a T25M manufacturer grade with a CVD-applied TiCN coating, delivering wear resistance on demanding workpiece materials including steel, stainless steel, superalloys, and titanium. The insert is square in shape with a 90-degree included angle, a positive rake geometry, a T-Land cutting edge style, and a 20-degree relief angle. Four usable cutting edges per insert reduce tooling cost per edge. The ME16 chip breaker geometry supports controlled chip formation in medium-to-heavy cuts. Machinists and toolroom technicians install this insert in compatible SE15AR-series cutter bodies using a wedge clamp holding method.
This insert is suited for CNC milling centers and manual mills running steel, stainless steel, superalloys, and titanium workpieces in production and job-shop environments. The SEKR-15 series sizing and neutral hand orientation make it appropriate for both roughing and semi-finishing passes where consistent edge engagement and chip control are priorities. The 0.4567-inch maximum depth of cut supports aggressive material removal when the cutter body and machine setup allow. Sold individually with a minimum order quantity of 10 units.

Installation is performed by machinists or toolroom technicians following the cutter body manufacturer torque and clamping procedures for wedge-clamp insert seats. De-energize and lock out the machine spindle before seating or indexing inserts. Inspect the insert pocket and wedge clamp for damage or debris before each installation. Do not mix insert grades or geometries within a single cutter body.
