The SECO 17016590 is a single-end roughing end mill designed for aggressive material removal in milling operations. Built from M42 cobalt high-speed steel with a TiCN coating, it delivers strong wear resistance and heat tolerance across a wide range of ferrous and non-ferrous workpiece materials. The 3/4 inch cutting diameter pairs with a 1.625 inch length of cut and a 3.875 inch overall length, making it well suited for deeper-reach roughing passes. Four right-hand spiral flutes with a 30-degree maximum helix angle provide efficient chip evacuation and stable cutting action. Centercutting geometry allows plunge entry without a pilot hole.

This end mill is intended for use in CNC machining centers, knee mills, and manual milling machines where roughing passes precede finishing operations. It is a fit for job shops, tool rooms, and production environments handling steel, stainless steel, cast iron, and similar materials.
