The SECO 17016448 is a single-end cobalt square end mill designed for material removal in ferrous and non-ferrous machining applications. Built from M42 cobalt high-speed steel and finished with a TiCN coating, it delivers heat and wear resistance in demanding cutting environments. The tool measures 1 inch in cutting diameter with a 6-inch length of cut, a 1-inch shank diameter, and an 8.5-inch overall length. Six spiral flutes with a 30-degree helix angle promote efficient chip evacuation and smooth cutting action. Right-hand cut and right-hand flute orientation are standard. This end mill is centercutting, allowing plunge entry directly into the workpiece.

This end mill is suited for milling steel, stainless steel, cast iron, aluminum and non-ferrous materials, and high-temperature alloys. It fits production and job-shop environments where extended reach into deep pockets or slots is required. Installation Notes

Verify runout does not exceed the 0.001-inch TIR maximum before beginning a cut.
