The SECO 17016368 is a single-end square end mill designed for material removal in milling operations on steel, stainless steel, cast iron, and high-temperature alloys. Built from M42 cobalt high-speed steel and finished with a TiCN (titanium carbonitride) coating, it delivers improved hardness and wear resistance compared to standard HSS tooling. The cutter measures 0.25 inches in diameter with a 0.5-inch length of cut, a 0.375-inch shank diameter, and a 2.3125-inch overall length. The 30-degree helix spiral flute geometry promotes chip evacuation. This tool is suited for machinists, tool-and-die professionals, and maintenance technicians working on manual or CNC milling machines.

This end mill is intended for short-length milling applications in ferrous and exotic material groups including steel (ISO P), stainless steel (ISO M), cast iron (ISO K), and high-temperature alloys (ISO S).
