The SECO 17015283 is a single-end roughing end mill designed for aggressive material removal in milling operations. Built from M42 cobalt high-speed steel and coated with TiCN for extended tool life, this end mill features a 1/2 inch mill diameter, 4 spiral flutes, and a 30-degree maximum helix angle. The 2.5 inch length of cut and 4.5 inch overall length make it well suited for moderate-depth roughing passes. Right-hand cutting and right-hand flute direction are standard. This tool is installed and used by machinists and tool-and-die professionals working on CNC mills, manual knee mills, and similar machine tool equipment.

This end mill is appropriate for roughing cuts in ferrous and hard metals where heat resistance and edge retention are priorities.
