Built from M42 cobalt high-speed steel and coated with TiAlN for heat and wear resistance, this tool handles tough ferrous and exotic alloys where standard HSS tooling falls short. It features a 1 inch cutting diameter, a 3 inch length of cut, and a 5-flute spiral geometry with right-hand cutting and right-hand flute direction. The long-series configuration provides extra reach for deep-pocket and profile milling work. Machinists and tool-and-die professionals specify this style for roughing passes where chip clearance and tool life are the primary concerns.
This end mill suits vertical and horizontal milling machines, CNC machining centers, and manual knee mills performing roughing operations on steel, stainless, cast iron, and similar materials.
