The SECO 17014843 is a single-end roughing end mill designed for aggressive material removal in milling applications. Built from M42 cobalt high-speed steel and coated with TiAlN for heat resistance, this tool handles tough ferrous and non-ferrous alloys where standard HSS tooling wears prematurely. It features a 3/4 inch mill diameter, four flutes, and a 2 inch length of cut, making it well suited for slotting, peripheral milling, and roughing passes where chip clearance and tool life are priorities. The right-hand cutting and right-hand spiral flute geometry direct chips away from the workpiece. Machinists and tool room professionals install this type of end mill in standard vertical or horizontal milling setups.

This roughing end mill is intended for use in production and job-shop milling environments where high material removal rates are needed before finishing passes.
