The SECO 17013556 is a single-end cobalt roughing end mill designed for aggressive material removal in milling applications. Built from M42 cobalt high-speed steel and coated with TiCN for improved wear resistance and heat tolerance, this end mill delivers reliable performance on ferrous and hard metals. The 3-flute geometry provides a balance between chip evacuation and cutting edge strength, while the 36-degree high helix angle promotes smooth chip flow and reduced cutting forces. With a 0.75-inch mill diameter and a 1.5-inch length of cut, it suits a wide range of roughing passes in production and job-shop environments. Licensed machinists and CNC operators are the primary users.

This end mill is suited for roughing operations on steel, stainless steel, and other tough alloys where high material removal rates are required. The TiCN coating extends tool life in abrasive cutting conditions. The right-hand cutting direction and right-hand spiral flutes are standard for conventional CNC milling setups. Installation Notes
