The SECO 17013491 is a single-end cobalt roughing end mill designed for aggressive material removal in milling operations. Built from M42 cobalt high-speed steel and coated with TiCN, it handles tough ferrous and non-ferrous materials where standard HSS tooling falls short. The 3/8-inch diameter, 4-flute spiral design with a 30-degree maximum helix angle produces an efficient cutting action while the roughing geometry breaks chips into smaller segments to reduce cutting forces. Right-hand cut and right-hand flute orientation are standard for conventional vertical and horizontal milling setups.
