Built from M42 cobalt high-speed steel, this tool delivers hardness and heat resistance needed when cutting steel, stainless steel, cast iron, and high-temperature alloys. The cutting diameter is 0.125 inches with a 0.375-inch length of cut, a 0.375-inch shank diameter, and an overall length of 2.3125 inches. The 2-flute spiral configuration at a 30-degree helix angle promotes chip evacuation and surface finish quality. The bright uncoated finish is standard for cobalt tools used in general-purpose ferrous machining.
This end mill is suited for slotting, profiling, and plunge cutting operations in job shops, tool rooms, and production environments.
