The SECO 17010841 is a single-end cobalt roughing end mill designed for aggressive material removal in milling applications. Built from M42 cobalt high-speed steel, it delivers heat resistance and edge retention when cutting ferrous metals, stainless steel, and other tough workpiece materials. The 1/2 inch diameter tool features 4 spiral flutes with a right-hand cutting and flute direction, a 30-degree maximum helix angle, and a bright uncoated finish. With a 1.625 inch length of cut and 3.625 inch overall length, it fits standard toolholders and is suited for roughing passes where chip evacuation and tool life matter most.

This end mill is used in job shop, production machining, and maintenance environments where high-speed steel tooling is preferred over carbide for interrupted cuts or flexible setups. It is a regular-length tool intended for use in vertical machining centers, knee mills, and manual bridgeport-style machines.
