The SECO 17007065 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill engineered for high-performance finishing in demanding materials including steel, stainless steel, superalloys, titanium, and hard materials. The tool features a 3/4 inch (0.7500 inch) mill diameter, a 0.0600 inch corner radius, and five right-hand spiral flutes with a 45-degree high helix angle. An AlTiN PVD coating provides thermal resistance and wear protection during aggressive finishing passes. This is a single-end, centercutting design in the S545R series, suited for machinists and toolroom operators running CNC milling operations on difficult-to-machine workpieces.
This end mill is appropriate for finishing operations on steel, stainless steel, superalloys, titanium, and hard materials in both production and toolroom environments. The short length type and 1-5/8 inch length of cut (1.6250 inches) make it well suited to applications requiring rigidity and tight corner radii in pockets, slots, and profiling cuts. It mounts in standard straight-bore toolholders with a 3/4 inch straight-cylindrical shank. Right-hand cutting direction applies to conventional CNC machining center setups.

Licensed machinists and CNC setup technicians typically install end mills of this type. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and the tool changer is in a safe state before loading or removing the tool. Seat the shank fully in the toolholder to the recommended gauge line and torque the retention hardware per the toolholder manufacturer specification. Verify runout against the stated TIR maximum of 0.0005 inch after installation before beginning a cut.
