Product Description

The SECO 17007063 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for finishing operations in demanding materials. It features a 3/4 inch diameter, a 0.0300 inch corner radius, and five right-hand spiral flutes with a 45-degree high helix angle. The AlTiN PVD coating improves heat resistance and tool life when cutting steel, stainless steel, superalloys, and titanium. With a 1-5/8 inch length of cut and 4 inch overall length, it fits standard toolholders with a 3/4 inch straight cylindrical shank. It is centercutting and single-end. Machinists and tool-and-die professionals use this end mill for tight-tolerance finishing passes where corner geometry and surface finish are critical.

This end mill is suited for finishing applications in CNC machining centers handling steel, stainless steel, superalloys and titanium, and hard materials. The short flute length and high helix geometry reduce chatter and improve chip evacuation in difficult-to-machine workpiece materials. Installation Notes

Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or CNC setup technician. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and the tool is secured in a clean, properly sized toolholder before tightening. Verify runout against the stated TIR maximum of 0.0005 inch after seating the tool. Follow shop safety procedures and machine manufacturer guidelines when setting tool offsets and beginning finishing passes.
