The SECO 17005012 is a single-end, solid carbide square end mill designed for precision milling of CFRP (carbon fiber reinforced polymer) materials. It features a CVD diamond coating that delivers the hardness and thermal resistance required to cut abrasive composite materials without rapid edge degradation. The 4-flute, spiral-flute geometry with a 30-degree helix angle promotes efficient chip evacuation and surface finish quality. With a cutting diameter of 0.5 inches and a 2-inch length of cut, this tool handles slotting, profiling, and peripheral milling operations in CNC machining centers.
