The SECO 17004671 is a single-end roughing end mill designed for aggressive material removal in milling applications. Built from solid carbide with an AlTiN coating, it delivers heat resistance and extended tool life in demanding cutting conditions. The cutter features a 1/2-inch mill diameter, four spiral flutes with a fine pitch, and a 20-degree maximum helix angle. A 45-degree chamfer at 0.025 inches width supports edge entry and chip evacuation. The Weldon flat shank provides positive drive and minimizes slippage under heavy radial loads. This tool is intended for use by machinists and CNC operators in production and job-shop environments.
