The SECO 17003785 is a 3-flute solid carbide ball end mill from the SB335 series, designed for precise contour milling and finishing passes in steel, cast iron, aluminum, and other non-ferrous materials. The tool measures 3/16 inch (0.1875 inch) in diameter with a 9/16 inch (0.5625 inch) length of cut and a 2 inch overall length. An AlTiN PVD coating improves heat resistance and tool life at elevated cutting temperatures. The 35-degree medium helix angle balances chip evacuation with cutting stability across a range of workpiece materials. This is a single-end, right-hand cut, right-hand flute tool intended for CNC machining center use.
The SB335 series ball end mill is suited for 3-axis and multi-axis CNC milling operations in job shop, die-mold, and general metalworking environments. Its standard length profile and straight cylindrical shank make it compatible with common collet and end mill holder tooling systems.
