The SECO 17003409 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for precision milling in demanding metalworking applications. It features a 1/4 inch diameter, a 0.0200 inch corner radius, and three right-hand spiral flutes with a 35-degree medium helix angle. The AlTiN PVD coating provides thermal and oxidation resistance, making it well-suited for cutting steel, stainless steel, superalloys, and titanium. With a coarse pitch and centercutting capability, this single-end tool handles both roughing and finishing passes. It belongs to SECO Series S335 and is built to tight tolerances throughout. Licensed machinists and CNC operators working in aerospace, tool-and-die, and precision machining environments are the primary users of this tool.
This end mill is intended for use in CNC machining centers and manual mills equipped with compatible straight-cylindrical shank toolholders. Its 3/4 inch length of cut and 2-1/2 inch overall length make it a standard-reach tool suited for shoulder milling, slotting, and contouring in ferrous and exotic alloy workpieces. Primary material applications include steel (P-class), stainless steel (M-class), and superalloys and titanium (S-class). It operates without coolant through the body, so external coolant or flood coolant strategies are typical in production setups.

Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or CNC setup technician.
