The SECO 17002955 is a single-end square end mill designed for precision milling in aluminum and non-ferrous materials. Ground from micrograin solid carbide, it delivers the hardness and edge retention needed for clean, accurate cuts in production and job-shop environments. The 45-degree helix angle promotes efficient chip evacuation, which is critical when machining gummy non-ferrous alloys. Compatibility

Installation Notes

Installation is performed by qualified CNC machinists or machine operators. Secure the 1/4-inch straight shank in a clean, properly sized collet or end mill holder, torquing to the tool holder manufacturer specification. Inspect the collet and bore for wear or runout before seating; the TIR maximum for this tool is 0.0005 inches. Always de-energize and lock out the machine spindle before changing tooling, following applicable OSHA lockout/tagout procedures.
