The SECO 17002358 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill engineered for demanding material removal in steel, stainless steel, cast iron, superalloys, and titanium. It features a 3/4-inch mill diameter, a 0.0300-inch corner radius, and 9 flutes arranged in a super-close pitch configuration with a 38-degree medium helix angle. The AlTiN PVD coating provides thermal resistance and extended tool life under high-speed cutting conditions. This single-end tool is suited for both roughing and finishing passes, making it a versatile choice for machinists and toolroom professionals working in production or job-shop environments.

This end mill is designed for use in CNC machining centers with compatible straight-cylindrical toolholders. The 1-5/8-inch length of cut and 4-inch overall length position it as a short-series tool appropriate for pocketing, profiling, and contouring operations in ferrous and exotic alloy workpieces. The right-hand flute direction and right-hand cutting direction are standard for conventional CNC setups. Installation Notes

Installation and tool changes should be performed by a qualified machinist with the spindle fully stopped and the machine in a safe, locked-out state. Verify toolholder runout does not exceed the maximum TIR of 0.0005 inches before operation. This tool is not center-cutting, so plunge entries must use a ramping or helical entry path. Confirm correct speed and feed parameters for the specific workpiece material before starting a cut.
