The SECO 17002338 is a solid carbide corner chamfer end mill designed for high-performance material removal in demanding metalworking applications. It features a 1/2 inch cutting diameter, a 2 inch length of cut, and 7 variable-index flutes with a 45-degree chamfer angle and a 0.0060 inch chamfer width. The AlTiN PVD coating provides thermal resistance and extended tool life at elevated cutting temperatures. Built from micrograin carbide, this end mill handles roughing and finishing operations including shouldering, slotting, ramp-down entry, helical interpolation, drill milling, and plunging. It is a single-end, right-hand cut tool with a straight cylindrical shank and a super close pitch flute configuration suited for tight-tolerance work.

This end mill is engineered for use on steel, stainless steel, cast iron, superalloys, and titanium workpiece materials. Installation Notes
