The SECO 17002331 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for high-performance milling in demanding metalworking applications. It features a 1/2 inch diameter, a 7-flute configuration with close pitch spacing, and an AlTiN PVD coating that supports elevated cutting temperatures and extended tool life. The 0.0150 inch corner radius reduces stress concentration at the cutting edge, making this tool suitable for both roughing and finishing passes in a single setup. It is installed in standard straight-cylindrical toolholders and is intended for use by machinists and CNC operators working with ferrous and high-temperature alloys.

This end mill is built for milling steel, stainless steel, cast iron, superalloys, and titanium. The short flute length of 3/4 inch (0.7500 inch) and 3 inch overall length make it well suited for close-tolerance profiling, slotting, and contouring where rigidity and finish quality are critical. The right-hand flute direction and right-hand cutting geometry are standard for conventional vertical and horizontal machining centers.
