The SECO 17002226 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for high-performance material removal in aluminum and non-ferrous metals. Built to Series AN345 specifications, it features a 0.5-inch mill diameter, a 45-degree helix angle, and a micrograin carbide substrate that supports aggressive feed rates and extended tool life. The bright uncoated finish makes it well suited for aluminum alloys where coatings can cause built-up edge. With a long-reach configuration and center-cutting capability, this end mill handles both plunge entry and profiling passes. It is a single-end tool with a straight 0.5-inch shank, right-hand cut, and right-hand spiral flute geometry.
This end mill is intended for use in CNC machining centers, vertical mills, and manual knee mills where aluminum, brass, copper, and other non-ferrous workpiece materials are processed.
