The SECO 10268381 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for high-performance material removal in demanding machining applications. With a 7/16-inch (0.4375-inch) mill diameter and a 0.0600-inch corner radius, this single-end tool blends durability with precision. The four-flute, right-hand helical design is coated with SIRON-A via a PVD process, delivering improved wear resistance and thermal stability. Rated for roughing and finishing operations, the 10268381 suits shops running steel, stainless steel, cast iron, superalloys, and titanium. It weighs 0.2 pounds and is machined to close tolerances consistent with ANSI B94.19 and NAS 986 standards.
This end mill is intended for use in CNC machining centers and manual mills where a corner radius profile is needed to reduce stress concentrations at part corners. It is center-cutting, allowing plunge entry into the workpiece. The cylindrical shank seats directly into a standard toolholder. Installation is performed by qualified machinists following shop safety and machine lockout procedures. Secure the cylindrical shank in a clean, properly sized toolholder and verify runout against the stated TIR maximum of 0.0005 inches before beginning a cut. Do not exceed the toolholder torque and clamping specifications provided by the toolholder manufacturer. Inspect the cutting edges for chipping or wear before each use and replace the tool if edge condition is compromised.
