The SECO 10115935 is a single-end corner radius end mill designed for precision material removal in demanding machining environments. Built from solid carbide with an HTA PVD coating, it carries a 1/8 inch cutting diameter and a 0.0313 inch corner radius that reduces stress concentrations at part edges. The 5-flute geometry with variable helix and variable pitch reduces harmonic vibration during cuts, making it well suited for finishing and light roughing passes where chatter control matters. Overall length is 1-1/2 inches with a 1/2 inch length of cut. This tool is centercutting and runs right-hand flute direction with right-hand cutting action. It is targeted at machinists and CNC operators working in production or job-shop settings.
The STR540 series is engineered for use on ferrous metals, stainless steels, cast iron, and high-temperature alloys, as indicated by its P, M, K, and S workpiece material classifications. The straight cylindrical shank measures 1/8 inch in diameter, fitting standard collet toolholders on CNC mills and machining centers. The long flute length type makes this a practical choice when reach into pockets or slots is required. Installation is performed by a machinist or CNC setup technician; spindle must be fully stopped and machine placed in an estop or lockout state before changing tooling. Seat the shank fully into the collet and torque the collet nut to the toolholder specification before running. Verify runout with a dial indicator before first use, as this tool carries a maximum TIR specification of 0.0005 inch. Do not exceed the recommended depth-of-cut parameters for the workpiece material and machine spindle power.
