The SECO 10023152 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for high-performance milling of non-ferrous metals. It features a 1/2 inch cutting diameter, a 0.0100 inch corner radius, and three right-hand spiral flutes with a 45-degree high helix angle. The ANF PVD coating extends tool life and reduces built-up edge when cutting aluminum, copper, brass, and similar materials. At 5 inches overall length with a 5/8 inch length of cut and a 3 inch reach, this single-end centercutting tool handles both roughing and finishing operations. It is used in CNC machining centers and milling setups by machinists and tool-and-die professionals.
This end mill is suited for production and job-shop milling of non-ferrous workpieces where extended reach is required. The coarse pitch, high helix design promotes chip evacuation in deep pockets and long-reach applications. The straight cylindrical 1/2 inch shank seats directly into standard collet chucks, shrink-fit holders, and hydraulic toolholders. The AN345R series is positioned for both finish passes and aggressive material removal in aluminum and similar non-ferrous alloys where surface finish and dimensional accuracy matter.
