The SECO 10023136 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for precision milling of non-ferrous metals. It features a 3/8 inch cutting diameter, a 0.0300 inch corner radius, and three right-hand spiral flutes with a 45-degree high helix angle. The ANF PVD coating improves surface finish and extends tool life in aluminum, copper, brass, and similar materials. At 4 inches overall length with a 1/2 inch length of cut, this single-end centercutting tool handles both roughing and finishing operations. It is part of SECO's AN345R series and is intended for use with standard straight-shank toolholders.
This end mill is suited for CNC milling operations in job shops, aerospace component work, and general non-ferrous metalworking where a controlled corner radius is required on profile or slot cuts. The short length type and extended reach configuration make it appropriate for setups where rigidity and reach must be balanced. Centercutting capability allows plunge entry directly into the workpiece. The coarse pitch flute geometry is optimized for chip evacuation in softer, gummy non-ferrous alloys.
Designed for use with standard straight-shank CNC toolholders. Optimized for non-ferrous metal workpiece materials including aluminum and similar alloys, per SECO AN345R series specifications.
Installation and tool changes should be performed by a qualified machinist with the spindle fully stopped and machine in a safe, locked-out state. Verify toolholder runout does not exceed the maximum TIR specification before operation. Use appropriate cutting fluid or air blast for chip clearance in non-ferrous materials. Follow machine tool manufacturer guidelines for speeds and feeds based on workpiece material and depth of cut.
