The SECO 10023094 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for high-performance material removal in non-ferrous metal applications. With a 3/4-inch cutting diameter, a 0.0100-inch corner radius, and three right-hand spiral flutes, this tool delivers both roughing and finishing capability in a single-end configuration. The ANF PVD coating extends tool life in aluminum, copper, brass, and similar workpiece materials. The high-helix, coarse-pitch geometry promotes efficient chip evacuation, reducing heat buildup and improving surface finish. Machinists and CNC operators in job shops and production environments rely on this geometry for consistent performance in demanding cuts.
This end mill is suited for milling operations on non-ferrous metals in CNC machining centers and manual mills. The straight cylindrical shank accepts standard toolholders across common collet and end mill holder systems. The 2-1/4-inch length of cut and 5-inch overall length provide reach for moderate-depth pockets, slots, and profiling passes. It is center-cutting, allowing plunge entry directly into the workpiece without a pre-drilled hole. This tool belongs to the SECO A345R series, which targets non-ferrous roughing and finishing in production and prototype environments.
Designed for use with standard end mill toolholders and collet systems accepting a 3/4-inch straight cylindrical shank. Primary workpiece material is non-ferrous metal (material code N). Part of the SECO A345R series.
Installation and tool changes should be performed by a qualified machinist with the machine spindle fully stopped and locked out per facility lockout/tagout procedures. Verify toolholder runout does not exceed the TIR maximum of 0.0005 inches before committing to a production run. Secure the shank to the full recommended engagement depth in the toolholder to prevent pullout under cutting loads. Inspect the cutting edges for damage before each use and replace the tool if chipping or wear is detected.
