The SECO 10023057 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for precision milling in non-ferrous metal applications. It features a 3/8 inch cutting diameter, a 1 inch length of cut, and a 0.0600 inch corner radius that reduces stress concentrations at part edges. The three-flute, right-hand spiral geometry combined with a 45-degree high helix angle promotes efficient chip evacuation. An ANF PVD coating improves wear resistance and surface finish when cutting aluminum, copper, brass, and similar materials. This end mill suits both roughing and finishing passes in a single tool, making it a practical choice for machining centers and CNC mills.
The 10023057 belongs to SECO Series A345R and is built for use in non-ferrous metal machining environments, including aerospace, general manufacturing, and precision fabrication shops. Its centercutting capability allows plunge entry, and the straight cylindrical shank is compatible with standard collet-style and hydraulic toolholders. With a coarse pitch and single-end configuration, it fits production work where consistent profile accuracy and corner integrity are required. This tool is typically set up and run by machinists and CNC operators working with aluminum alloys, copper alloys, and similar N-code workpiece materials.
Designed for use with standard collet, hydraulic, and shrink-fit toolholders accepting a 3/8 inch straight cylindrical shank. Intended for non-ferrous metal workpiece materials (material code N) per SECO Series A345R application guidelines.
Install in a clean, properly sized collet or toolholder and torque to the toolholder manufacturer's specification. Confirm runout does not exceed the 0.0005 inch maximum TIR before cutting. Power down and lock out the spindle before changing or inspecting the tool. Avoid using this end mill on ferrous or hardened materials, as it is rated for non-ferrous applications only.
