The SECO 10023041 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for precision milling of non-ferrous metals. It features a 5/32 inch (0.1562 inch) cutting diameter, a 0.0300 inch corner radius, and a 3-flute right-hand spiral geometry with a high 45-degree helix angle. The ANF PVD coating improves wear resistance and chip evacuation in aluminum and other non-ferrous workpiece materials. At 2 inches overall length with a 1/2 inch length of cut, this is a standard-reach, single-end centercutting tool suited for both roughing and finishing passes. Machinists and CNC programmers in job shops and production environments install this tool in standard straight-shank toolholders.
This end mill is built for milling non-ferrous metals including aluminum alloys, copper, and brass. The coarse pitch, 3-flute design supports efficient chip removal at higher feed rates typical in non-ferrous machining. The centercutting geometry allows plunge entry, adding flexibility in slotting and pocketing operations. With a 3/16 inch shank diameter and a neck diameter of 0.1560 inch, it seats securely in compatible collet chucks and end mill holders. It belongs to SECO Series A345R and is packaged as a single unit.
Designed for use with standard straight-shank toolholders accepting a 3/16 inch shank diameter. Intended for non-ferrous metal workpiece materials per Series A345R application guidelines.
Installation is performed by machining professionals on CNC or manual milling equipment. Power down and lock out the spindle before changing tooling. Seat the shank fully and evenly in the toolholder collet and torque the retention nut to the toolholder manufacturer specification. Verify runout does not exceed the 0.0005 inch TIR maximum before beginning a cut.
