The SECO 10023027 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for high-performance material removal in aluminum and non-ferrous applications. Built to Series A345 standards, this single-end mill features a 3/4 inch cutting diameter, a 1-5/8 inch length of cut, and three flutes arranged in a right-hand spiral at a 45-degree helix angle. The micrograin carbide substrate provides the edge strength and rigidity needed for consistent, repeatable cuts. An ANF coating reduces built-up edge and extends tool life in non-ferrous materials. Center-cutting geometry allows plunge entry. This tool is installed and operated by machinists and CNC tooling professionals in shop and production environments.
This end mill is suited for milling aluminum, brass, copper, and other non-ferrous materials in both manual and CNC machining centers. The short length type keeps deflection low during aggressive passes, making it a practical choice for slotting, profiling, and pocket milling where surface finish and dimensional accuracy matter. The straight shank fits standard ER and end mill holders accepting a 3/4 inch bore.
Designed for use in aluminum and non-ferrous materials (material code N) as part of the SECO Series A345 end mill family. Compatible with standard straight-bore end mill holders and ER collet chucks accepting a 3/4 inch shank diameter.
Install in a clean, properly sized collet or end mill holder and torque to the holder manufacturer specification before use. Confirm runout does not exceed the 0.0050 inch TIR maximum before beginning a cut. Power down and lock out the spindle before changing tooling. Do not use this tool on ferrous materials, as the ANF coating and flute geometry are optimized for non-ferrous workpieces.
