The SECO 10023002 is a single-end square end mill designed for precision milling of aluminum and non-ferrous materials. Built from micrograin solid carbide, it delivers the edge strength and wear resistance required in demanding cutting applications. The tool features a 1/8 inch diameter cutting head with a 3/8 inch length of cut, three right-hand spiral flutes, and a 45-degree helix angle that promotes efficient chip evacuation. An ANF coating further enhances performance in non-ferrous applications. At 1-1/2 inches overall length with a straight 1/8 inch shank, this end mill fits standard collet toolholding systems used in CNC and manual milling operations.
This end mill is engineered for use in aluminum and non-ferrous workpiece materials, classified under primary workpiece material code N. Its compact 1/8 inch diameter makes it well-suited for detailed slot milling, profiling, and pocket work where tight tolerances and fine feature geometry are required. The centercutting capability allows plunge operations where needed. It is used in machine shops, production environments, and maintenance facilities wherever precise non-ferrous milling is performed.
Designed as an OEM-style solid carbide square end mill for use in standard 1/8 inch collet toolholders on CNC machining centers and manual milling machines processing aluminum and non-ferrous materials.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or CNC operator. The machine spindle must be fully stopped and powered down before inserting or removing the tool from the collet holder. Ensure the shank is seated to the correct depth and collet torque is applied per the toolholder manufacturer's specifications. Inspect the cutting edges and coating for damage before each use.
