The SECO 10008094 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for precision milling in ferrous and non-ferrous materials. It features a 3/4 inch diameter, a 2.5 inch length of cut, and a 0.0300 inch corner radius that reduces stress concentration at the cutting edge, extending tool life in demanding applications. The six-flute, right-hand spiral geometry with a close pitch and 38-degree medium helix delivers smooth chip evacuation and surface finish. An HTA PVD coating improves wear resistance and thermal stability at elevated cutting speeds. This tool is single-end and centercutting, making it suitable for plunge, slot, and profile operations.
This end mill is used in precision machining environments including job shops, aerospace component production, die and mold work, and general metal fabrication. It mounts in standard straight-bore toolholders via its 3/4 inch straight-cylindrical shank. The 5 inch overall length provides reach for deeper workpiece features without sacrificing rigidity. This tool is suited for CNC machining centers running right-hand cutting operations where tight tolerances and surface quality are required. It belongs to the SECO S638R series.
Designed for use with standard straight-bore toolholders accepting a 3/4 inch cylindrical shank. Part of the SECO S638R series.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or CNC setup technician. Ensure the toolholder bore and shank are clean and free of debris before clamping. Verify runout does not exceed the specified TIR maximum of 0.0005 inch after installation. Confirm spindle is fully stopped and machine is in a safe state before changing or inspecting tooling.
