The SECO 10000069 is a solid carbide milling insert carrying ANSI and ISO designation XOEX160563R-M09 in manufacturer grade MS2050. It is a single-sided, parallelogram-shaped insert with a positive rake geometry and a honed cutting edge style. The insert features a PVD-applied TiAlN and NbN dual coating designed for cutting performance in demanding materials. With a 15.20-degree relief angle, a 14-degree rake angle, and two cutting edges per insert, it delivers consistent chip formation in high-feed face and shoulder milling operations. Installation is performed by licensed machinists or tooling technicians on compatible cutter bodies.
This insert is engineered primarily for machining superalloys and titanium (ISO material code S), with secondary application in steel and stainless steel (ISO codes P and M). The M09 chip breaker geometry is suited for medium cutting conditions across these material groups. It is compatible with SECO cutter series R217.69-XO16 and R220.69-XO16. Typical use cases include aerospace component machining, high-temp alloy milling, and general-purpose steel face milling where a screw-held, right-hand insert is required. Minimum order quantity is 10 units; package quantity is 1.

This insert is seated and secured by a screw clamp on compatible SECO cutter bodies; ensure the cutter body is properly mounted and the machine spindle is fully powered down and locked out before changing inserts. Inspect the insert pocket seat for debris or damage before seating the new insert. Use the correct torx or hex key specified by the cutter body manufacturer when tightening the clamping screw. Confirm insert orientation is right-hand before engaging the spindle.
