The SECO 03275993 is a CNMG432-M5 indexable turning insert manufactured from solid carbide with a CVD-applied Duratomic multilayer coating of TiCN, Al2O3, and Cr. It features an 80-degree diamond insert shape, a neutral hand orientation, a 0.5-inch inscribed circle, and a corner radius of 0.0315 inches. With four cutting edges and a chamfered and honed cutting edge style, this insert is designed for productive turning, facing, and boring operations. Licensed machinists and CNC lathe operators working in metalworking environments select this insert for its combination of edge toughness and wear resistance on demanding workpiece materials.
This insert is suited for machining stainless steel as its primary workpiece material, with steel as a secondary material application.
