The SECO 03275974 is a CCMT-series solid carbide turning insert designed for precision metal removal in CNC and manual turning applications. Manufactured to the CCMT53.52-M3 industry standard (ISO: CCMT160508-M3), this insert features a multilayer CVD coating of TiCN and Al2O3 with a Cr topcoat for wear resistance and thermal stability. The diamond-shaped insert carries an 80-degree included angle, a 0.0315-inch corner radius, and a positive rake geometry with a chamfered and honed cutting edge. Installation Notes

Insert installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or CNC operator with the machine fully powered down and the spindle locked before seating or indexing the insert. Use the appropriate Torx or hex key to torque the clamping screw to the toolholder specification; do not over-tighten, as this can fracture the carbide insert body. Inspect the insert pocket and screw for wear or debris before seating. Index or replace the insert at the first sign of chipping, cratering, or dimensional drift in the finished workpiece.
