The SECO 03275908 is a solid carbide turning insert in the CCMT series, designed for precision metal cutting on CNC lathes and manual turning centers. It carries the TM1501 manufacturer grade with a CVD-applied Duratomic multilayer coating of TiCN, Al2O3, and Cr, which builds wear resistance and extends edge life in demanding cuts. The insert features an 80-degree diamond shape with a neutral hand orientation, a 0.25-inch inscribed circle, and a 1/64-inch corner radius. The F1 chip breaker geometry promotes positive rake cutting with a sharp edge style, making it well suited for finishing and light roughing passes where chip control matters.
This insert is engineered primarily for stainless steel (ISO material code M) and steel (ISO material code P) workpieces across material grades M15, M20, and M25. Typical applications include boring, facing, and turning operations on components requiring consistent surface finish and dimensional accuracy. It is held by screw clamping in standard CCMT-style toolholders. The insert conforms to both ANSI and ISO standards, and its ISO designation is CCMT060204-F1, making it cross-referenceable in international toolholder systems. This insert is sold individually per package with a minimum order quantity of 10 pieces.

Inspect the insert seat and shim for debris before seating a new insert to ensure proper contact and runout control.
