The SECO 03272827 is a solid carbide milling insert carrying ANSI and ISO designation XOMX120408TR-ME08 in manufacturer grade MP2501. It features a parallelogram shape with a positive rake angle of 20.1 degrees and a T-Land cutting edge style, making it well suited for high-productivity face and shoulder milling operations. The insert is CVD-coated with a TiCN and Al2O3 Duratomic coating classification for improved wear resistance and thermal stability. Two cutting edges are available per insert, and the right-hand configuration fits the XOMX-12 series cutter bodies. Primary workpiece material is steel, with secondary suitability for stainless steel, cast iron, superalloys, and titanium.

This insert is intended for use in industrial milling applications ranging from general-purpose steel machining to more demanding operations on stainless steel and cast iron. The ME08 chip breaker geometry is designed to control chip flow and reduce cutting forces across a range of depths. Installation Notes
