Product Description

The SECO 03272825 is a solid carbide milling insert carrying ANSI and ISO designation XOEX120408R-M07 in manufacturer grade MP2501. This right-hand, single-sided parallelogram insert measures 12.00 mm in length with a 5.03 mm thickness and an 8.20 mm inscribed circle diameter. It is manufactured using a CVD coating process and features a Duratomic TiCN plus Al2O3 multilayer coating for extended tool life. The positive rake geometry at 20.3 degrees and honed cutting edge style reduce cutting forces during face and shoulder milling operations. Screw-held mounting keeps the insert securely indexed in compatible cutter bodies. Licensed machinists and CNC milling operators install this insert class.

This insert is suited for milling operations on steel as the primary workpiece material, with secondary application to stainless steel, cast iron, superalloys, and titanium. It is designed for use in the SECO XOEX-12 series and is compatible with cutter bodies R217.69-12 and R220.69-12. The M07 chip breaker geometry is optimized for moderate to heavy chip loads encountered in production-volume face milling and shoulder milling on ferrous and difficult-to-machine alloys. Maximum depth of cut is 6.00 mm.
