The SECO 03213638 is an indexable chamfer angle face mill designed for precision facing operations on machining centers and milling machines. Built to the R220.54 series specification, this cutter accepts 6 SN-style inserts and delivers a maximum cutting diameter of 3.74 inches with a minimum cutting diameter of 3.15 inches. The 1-inch arbor hole allows direct mounting to standard arbors used in production milling environments. Maximum depth of cut is 0.236 inches per pass, and the tool supports through-coolant delivery to manage heat and chip evacuation during high-speed material removal. The cutter body is constructed from steel and is rated for right-hand cutting with a negative rake geometry at a -6-degree rake angle. Tool and die shops, job shops, and production machining operations rely on this style of cutter for flat surface finishing and chamfer preparation.
The 03213638 face mill is suited for facing operations on ferrous and non-ferrous workpieces in both horizontal and vertical machining center setups. With 6 flutes and a normal pitch configuration, it is appropriate for medium to high material removal rate applications where surface finish consistency is required. The through-coolant feature supports extended insert life in demanding production environments. Inserts are held by screw clamping and are compatible with the SN..14..ANTR insert designation.

Installation and setup should be performed by a qualified machinist or tooling technician familiar with rotating cutting tool systems. Power down and lock out the machine spindle before mounting or removing the cutter body from the arbor. Confirm insert seating and screw torque per the toolholder manufacturer guidelines before running the spindle. Verify maximum RPM of the spindle setup does not exceed the 6700 RPM rating of this cutter body.
