The SECO 03115930 is a 6-flute solid carbide square end mill engineered for demanding milling applications where precision and tool life are critical. It carries a 1/8-inch cutting diameter with a 5/16-inch length of cut and mounts on a 1/4-inch straight-cylindrical shank. The overall length is 2 inches, placing it in the long-series category. The micrograin carbide substrate is coated with AlTiN (aluminum titanium nitride), which delivers high heat resistance and hardness at the cutting edge. A variable helix design reduces chatter and improves chip evacuation. Licensed machinists and CNC operators working in job shops, production floors, and tool rooms are the primary users.
This end mill is suited for finish and semi-finish milling operations in ferrous and hardened materials where a small-diameter, long-reach tool is needed.
