The SECO 03096316 is a CNMG542-MR7 indexable turning insert designed for medium to heavy-duty metal cutting operations. It features a solid carbide substrate with a CVD-applied Duratomic multilayer coating of TiCN, Al2O3, and Cr, which improves wear resistance and thermal stability at the cutting zone. The insert has an 80-degree diamond shape, a neutral hand orientation, a 5/8-inch inscribed circle, and a 1/32-inch corner radius.
