The SECO 03094162 is a WNMG331-MF2 series indexable turning insert designed for steel and stainless steel machining. It is manufactured from solid carbide and coated via CVD with a Duratomic TiCN, Al2O3, and Cr multilayer coating in manufacturer grade TP3501. The insert features an 80-degree trigon (W) shape with a negative rake angle, a 0-degree relief angle (clearance code N), and an MF2 chip breaker geometry with a chamfered and honed cutting edge. The 3/8-inch inscribed circle and 1/64-inch corner radius make this insert well suited for light-to-medium turning, facing, and boring operations on steel and stainless steel workpieces. It delivers 6 usable cutting edges per insert.
This insert is intended for use in CNC lathes and turning centers performing external turning, facing, and boring operations. Primary workpiece material is steel (ISO material code P), with a rated material grade range of P20, P30, and P40. Secondary application covers stainless steel (ISO material code M). The insert is compatible with toolholders that accept WNMG-style inserts using clamp, pin, or lever-lock holding methods. It conforms to both ANSI and ISO standards and carries ISO code WNMG060404-MF2. This insert is sold individually with a minimum order quantity of 10 units.

Ensure the insert seat and pocket are clean and free of chips before seating the insert to prevent rocking or improper clamping. Follow the toolholder manufacturer's specified clamping torque for WNMG-style inserts.
